Ask where the address came from#
Review the source URL, collection date and match to the intended person and company. A confidence score is not a source. Treat an inferred naming pattern as a hypothesis, especially when staff or domains may have changed.
Check the address separately#
A discovery record can be old, misspelled or associated with a former employee. Use verification to gather additional evidence, retaining unknowns. Verification does not establish that the named person still reads the mailbox.
Decide whether contact is appropriate#
Use the relationship, purpose and applicable rules to decide on outreach. Discovery is not consent. MailMaid Find requires an authorized discovery provider; this release does not include a contact database or generate supposedly verified identities.
