Ask what the score measures#
A message scanner can inspect content, headers or configured rules. A receiver may also rely on sending history and recipient behavior unavailable to that scanner. A strong score therefore cannot certify inbox placement.
Keep test conditions comparable#
Change one element at a time and send through the same infrastructure. Save the exact version tested. If one provider behaves differently, investigate that provider’s evidence rather than averaging the difference away.
Choose the next measurement#
Use header checks for authentication questions, provider logs for acceptance failures and real seed observations for placement questions. MailMaid InboxLens currently includes local header analysis; a live seed service remains a separate integration requirement.
